Johnson Law Group’s mass tort division is seeking a highly motivated Associated Attorney to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney eager to develop professionally while making a meaningful impact in plaintiffs’ advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing all aspects of a mass tort docket
  • Tracking and taking steps to meet critical deadlines
  • Managing paralegals and legal assistants assigned to your docket
  • Following documented process and procedures to manage cases through pre-trial
  • Creating additional documented processes where necessary
  • Contacting clients to resolve issues and explain the litigation process
  • Liaising with other law firms involved in the litigation
  • Reviewing and analyzing medical records
  • Reviewing all documents to be filed with the Court and/or served on Defense before they are filed or submitted
  • Assisting our legal team with any overflow tasks and special projects
  • Analyzing docket trends to spot inefficiencies in processes or procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Texas State Bar required
  • 0 to 1 year of experience practicing law

This is a full-time position, with hours generally expected from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the expectation of working at least 50 hours per week.
