Background
Chanelle is a Chicago native, born and raised on the south side. Her mother was a caregiver and her father was a police officer — so, the act of caring for people and serving her community was embedded in her at a very young age. She's always wanted to make an impact on and give back to her community, and being a personal injury attorney allows her to do so. Chanelle takes pride in zealously advocating for her clients and ensuring they are fairly and adequately compensated for the injuries they sustain.
Prior to Johnson Law Group, Chanelle was a plaintiff’s personal injury litigation paralegal at Gordon, Gordon, & Centracchio, LLP.
During law school, she was a Senior Resource Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review; Editor-in-Chief of “The Pillar”, held board positions in the Black Law Students Association, and received book awards for Appellate Advocacy and Pre-Trial Skills for earning the highest grade in both classes.
